Itinerary Details

  • Day 1 Alexandria Tour

    We will start our Alexandria day tours by picking you up from your respective hotels at 9:00 am. Then we will move towards the Alexandria National Museum which, after having served as a palace, is now one of Egypt's greatest museums. Here, you will get amazing knowledge regarding the historical values of Alexandria. You will get an opportunity to visit the library of Alexandria, the world’s largest library known for more than eight million books now.

    The next stop of our half-day tour will be at the St. Mark Church, the oldest church in Africa. It is the seat of the Pope of Alexandria who is the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church. Also, there is an interesting history associated with the church that you will find out during the journey. Then we will head towards the El Nabi Daniel Mosque which contains the remnants of the intellectual and respected teacher Prophet Daniel and his confidant Sidi Lokman al-Hakim.

    After having lunch we will drive to the Abo Al-Abbas Mosque, one of the most significant mosques in Alexandria. Then our tour will head towards the Castle of Qaitbay built on the same site as that of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Enjoy viewing the lavish interior of the castle and then get onto the roof of the castle to view the picturesque sight of the entire city.

    The next stop of this half-day tour of Alexandria will be the Montazah Gardens and the Palaces where you will get a chance to view the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as have a walk along the well-known Montaza Bridge and visit the Tea Palace Island to see the splendid beaches of the queens.

    During the return, we will stop by the Bridge of Stanley, the modern landmark of modern Alexandria built by Alexander the Great. With this, our half-day tour in Alexandria comes to an end.
