Itinerary Visit Guide

  • Day 1 Rosetta Tour

    You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning by one of our representatives to spend a different Egypt day tours. Then you will be transferred in an a/c car nearly one hour via roadway from Alexandria to the City of Rosetta. Upon arrival, you’ll see the Rashid Museum which is a uniquely styled black and red brick home located inside the city’s tiny sweeping streets. Your guide will accompany you to the museum to witness a model of the Rosetta Stone engraved in three idioms, Demotic, Ancient Pharaonic and Ancient Greek.

    From there, we'll take you on a walking tour of the neighborhood to show you local life and the markets where people sell their fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, and fish as we make our way to the well-kept Ottoman homes.

    A further Alexandria day tours to the Mill of Abu Shaheen will let you see a house for trade catering the family & local community. After exploring the Houses, you’ll amble a small distance with our guide to see the ‘Hanging Mosque’, an exclusive building & is one of the few Egyptian mosques constructed on an upper level to keep storage units beneath for shops & supplies.

    Lastly, we will take you on a short ride to the Citadel of Qaitbay on the outer edge of the city constructed in 1479. Lying beside the Nile River, it was constructed as a defense means to give protection against attacks by attackers coming from the Mediterranean. Take your time to mount the pinnacle of the Citadel next to the protected fences to witness the beautiful sights where the Nile River meets the Mediterranean.

    Then we will leave the Citadel and get back to Alexandria with a stop for lunch at any local eatery. Rosetta has a lot to see and explore!
